Policy & Advocacy Intern - Spring 2027

Job Summary

Conduct policy research and support advocacy efforts for the US Corporate & Government Partnerships team. Assist with research projects, manage constituent inquiries via the Advocacy inbox, and attend congressional hearings and DC-based events. Coordinate event planning and execution for campaigns such as the Advocacy Summit and TIP Report release. Provide administrative support to the department while reporting to the Specialist. This role requires 30-40 hours per week in a hybrid schedule (Tuesdays & Thursdays onsite) during the January 11 – April 9, 2027 internship period. A monthly stipend covers expenses; no hourly wage is paid. Candidates must possess strong research and written communication skills, with government experience preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Completed at least two years of undergraduate study by the start of their internship
  • At least one prior professional internship experience or significant leadership experience in extracurricular, campus, volunteer, or community-based organizations
  • Ability to commit to a schedule consistent with the required time commitment listed above (20, 30, or 40 hours per week during standard business hours)
  • Strong research skills and experience with policy and development
  • Strong written communication
