Job Summary
Policy Advisor will conduct quantitative and qualitative policy analysis to inform decision-making on tenant protection initiatives; develop policy recommendations and briefing materials for senior leadership; monitor and evaluate existing programs and propose improvements; track relevant legislation, regulations, and national best practices in housing policy; support cross-agency initiatives from concept through implementation; develop project plans and deliverables; coordinate with City agencies, external partners, and community stakeholders; prepare presentations, memos, and reports for internal and external audiences; serve as a liaison between MOPT, City agencies, tenant advocates, and community-based organizations; facilitate interagency working groups and stakeholder meetings; support outreach to ensure policies reflect tenant needs and experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in public policy, urban planning, law, or related field preferred
- 2-4+ years of relevant experience in housing policy, government, or a related field
