Police Officer

Mercer University’s Police Department is hiring Police Officers to work on the residential undergraduate campus in Macon, Georgia. Officers will enforce federal, state, and local laws, respond to calls for service, prevent and investigate crimes, maintain public order, and provide general assistance to the campus community in accordance with the department’s community policing approach. The role involves interacting with supervisors, colleagues, university personnel, students, and the general public; handling a variety of duties including use of police equipment, reporting, and adapting to changing circumstances as needed.
