Job Summary

Certified law enforcement position for Prairie Band Potawatomi Tribal Police, maintaining peace and order within the PBP Reservation, enforcing laws, and responding to emergencies. Requires High School Diploma and completion of Law Enforcement Academy.

Required Qualifications

  • One year of employment and/or training
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Successful completion of Kansas Law Enforcement Basic Training Academy or an equivalent Federal or State approved academy
  • Certify as a Full-Time Kansas Law Enforcement Officer within 12 months of hire
  • Successful Completion of Emergency Vehicle Operators Course Certification
