Job Summary
Patrols hospital interior and exterior to prevent loss of hospital, employee, and patient or visitor property; writes well-written, detailed reports; passes annual Firearms Qualifications; complies with OPOTC continuum of force/Response to Resistance and Aggression; locates health system sites by address; maintains high visibility to prevent crime and support a safe hospital environment; requires the ability to read/write at high school level, valid Ohio Driver License, current Firearms Qualification, CPR certification, and effective communication; operates a computer and other office equipment; perform safety-related duties as part of daily security operations in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Driver License
- Ohio Peace Officers Training Program Certificate
- current Firearms Qualification
- CPR certification (must maintain)
- Ability to read, write and comprehend at high school level
- Physically able to intercept and detain individuals of all sizes
- Effective communication in all situations
- Operate a computer and other office equipment
