Job Summary
Police Officer position overseeing nighttime security duties at Lindner Center of Hope. Responsibilities include patrolling property, responding to alarms and radio-dispatched calls, coordinating safety and security programs, investigating reports of crime or incidents, enforcing hospital and federal/state regulations, conducting inspections for hazards, managing access and security systems, assisting with background checks and AEDs, and providing escort services to staff and visitors. Must maintain firearm qualification, operate related equipment, and adapt to a 36-hour-per-week night schedule (3-12 hour shifts, 7:00pm–7:00am) with every-other weekend off. Requires OPOTA certification, a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and willingness to cover all shifts.
Required Qualifications

- OPOTA certification as a Peace Officer
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Willingness to cover all shifts
