Job Summary
Enforce municipal, state, and federal laws in a designated area on an assigned shift under the direct supervision of a Lieutenant. Perform day-to-day duties including making arrests, working accidents, testifying in court, preliminary investigations, and traffic regulations. Maintain C.L.E.E.T. certification and a valid Oklahoma driver's license while meeting medical requirements set by the Oklahoma Police Pension & Retirement System. This safety-sensitive position requires pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, and random drug and alcohol screening. Starting salary ranges from $60,238 to $63,177 annually with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Completed City of Midwest City employment application
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 21 years of age
- C.L.E.E.T. certification
- Valid Oklahoma driver license
- Insurable status
- Meeting medical requirements set forth by the Oklahoma Police Pension & Retirement System
