Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Be a high school graduate or have GED equivalent
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Meet standards set forth by the Tennessee Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission and adopted by the Tennessee General Assembly on June 4, 1983, T.C.A. 38-8-106.
- Not have been convicted of, or pled guilty to, or entered a plea of nolo contendre to a felony charge or to any violation of any federal or state laws, or any city ordinances relating to force, violence, theft, dishonesty, gambling, liquor, or controlled substances.
- If applicable, separated honorably (or under honorable conditions) from the Armed Services.
