Job Summary
Police Officer role for individuals either currently POST-certified or actively attending an academy, with pathways for Non-Certified candidates. Responsibilities include operating departmental vehicles, responding to calls, conducting initial investigations, preserving crime scenes, preparing reports, ensuring knowledge of criminal and traffic law, enforcing laws, using force when necessary, articulating in court, assisting community members, and maintaining equipment and fitness standards. Starting pay $35.12-$48.55/hour (experience-based), full benefits, pension/401(k), and flexible shifts.
