Job Summary
Assist with various tasks to support the police department's operations, including attending and assisting with community events, conducting traffic control, and performing administrative duties. Take non-criminal reports made at the department, manage detention facility duties, administer preliminary breath tests, and handle vehicle releases. Provide customer service to those who visit the police department and perform citation sign-offs with strong attention to detail. Work alongside experienced officers to gain practical knowledge of law enforcement practices in a community-oriented problem-solving environment.
