Poles Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary
Poles Maintenance Supervisor oversees maintenance technicians in a heavy industrial setting, organizing and delegating work assignments to keep poles systems operational; coordinates with Engineering to implement new systems and troubleshoot existing ones; researches and orders parts, estimates labor and parts costs, builds outage maintenance schedules with work orders and staffing; plans and arranges activities related to equipment maintenance to improve plant accessibility; enforces safety requirements and contributes to a culture of continuous improvement; travel may be required and the role is a full-time position. Requires supervisory experience, blueprint reading, and strong leadership and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years supervisory experience to include training, performance reviews, disciplining employees, blueprint reading
- Willingness to take management classes
- Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and positive work relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (or willingness to learn)
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Familiar with MDU EHS policies
- Proficient with UltiPro
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail
