Job Summary
Performs the act of mechanically dealing Poker in a proficient manner, manages guest transactions and chip flow, assists with seating players, supports guest service standards, and participates in poker tournaments and casino operations. Requires knowledge of poker procedures, strong leadership and customer-relations skills, ability to read/write simple correspondence, and flexibility to work various shifts; must be 21+ with regulatory licensing. Reports to Supervisor Poker and works on-site at the casino.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent of a high school diploma with knowledge of game and dealing techniques
- 1-2 years’ supervisory experience is preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Knowledge of poker procedures and rules
- Must have strong leadership skills with a clear focus on guest service and Team Member relations as a priority
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to staff or customers and other employees of the organization
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills
- Ability to communicate with team members and guests
- Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
