Job Summary
Provide podiatry care in inpatient and outpatient settings under collaboration with physicians; perform histories, physical examinations, orders and interpretation of imaging and lab tests, and post-operative visits; develop and implement treatment plans; document progress notes; prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies; follow patients through clinic and hospital care; contribute to safety, patient experience, and quality outcomes; collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams; participate in service line goals and organizational initiatives; maintain adherence to policies; requires IL APRN licensure and a master’s degree, with BLS/CPR certification and DEA license.
Required Qualifications
- APRN licensure in IL
- Federal DEA license
- Illinois Controlled Substances license
- Master’s degree in nursing or related advanced practice field
- BLS/CPR certification
- Experience in orthopedics or podiatry preferred
