Job Summary
Examine and diagnose foot/ankle conditions; perform surgical procedures as needed; provide treatment plans including medications, physical therapy, or surgery; educate patients and families; maintain accurate medical records; work under CMO direction in a Sacramento-area podiatry practice with a focus on comprehensive lower-extremity care.
Required Qualifications
- Current California podiatrist license
- Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine
- Board certification through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery preferred
- Ability to observe, assess and record symptoms, reactions, and progress
- Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care
- Knowledge of information and techniques to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, deformities
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- PC Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and EMR
