Job Summary

Examine patients' legs and feet to diagnose diseases, treating bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles. Perform surgical procedures as necessary alongside wound care management, while diagnosing deformities using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test results. Prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery, and provide education and consultation to patients, family, and the health care team regarding prevention techniques. Appropriately maintain medical records on assigned patients. Competitive physician salary program with a base ($150,000 - $600,000) plus percentage of net collections. Benefit eligibility for FT employees working 30+ hours weekly begins first of the month following 30 days of employment. Eligibility to participate in our 401(k) program begins first of the month following 60 days of employment.

Required Qualifications

  • Current License as a Podiatrist in the State of Tennessee
  • Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine from an Accredited School of Podiatry
  • Board certification through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery
  • Ability to observe, assess and record symptoms, reactions, and progress
  • Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care
  • Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities
  • Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills that allow effective working relationships with diverse patient, colleague, and vendor populations
  • PC Proficient with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook and EMR database
  • Ability to provide legal proof of eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Ability to successfully pass an in-depth background investigation

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years professional experience preferred
