Job Summary
Podiatrist needed to provide comprehensive foot and ankle care for residents in long-term care facilities. Responsibilities include conducting foot/leg examinations, treating foot and leg injuries (fractures, corns, calluses), prescribing medications to relieve joint pain, recommending foot orthoses, offering patient guidance on foot care and wellness, and ordering additional tests as needed. Must hold a DPM degree, a DEA license, and have long-term care experience; able to lift 20 pounds and be on feet for up to 6-8 hours/day. Competitive annual compensation of $150,000–$200,000 with benefits.
