Job Summary
Conduct mobile podiatry care for residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities, focusing on diabetic foot care, fall risk assessments, pressure alleviation, and wound management. Perform routine nail and foot care, including clipping, debridement, and removal for heel, ankle, and foot pain. Make all clinical decisions while utilizing EMR systems for charting and connecting with patients through empathy and compassion. Travel to various senior care communities to deliver these services, with full equipment, supplies, and office support provided by the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited school of Podiatry Medicine
- Active and unrestricted Podiatry license in the state
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to connect to patients with empathy and compassion
- Travel to skilled nursing and long term care facilities
- Ability to use EMR system for notes and charting
Desired Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible podiatrist in good standing
