Job Summary
Conduct mobile podiatry care for residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities, focusing on diabetic foot care, fall risk assessment, pressure ulcer management, and routine nail procedures. Make all clinical decisions regarding heel, ankle, and foot pain while utilizing EMR systems for charting. Travel to various senior care communities to provide direct patient services, supported by remote tech assistance and a dedicated Care Coordination team handling consents and scheduling. No evenings, weekends, or on-call rotations required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited school of Podiatry Medicine
- Active and unrestricted Podiatry license in the state
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to connect to patients with empathy and compassion
- Travel to skilled nursing and long term care facilities
- Ability to use EMR system for notes and charting
Desired Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible podiatrist in good standing
