Job Summary
Diabetic foot care, fall risk assessment, pressure alleviation recommendations, and treatment of venous, pressure, and traumatic wounds and ulcers. Perform heel, ankle, and foot pain management, toenail clipping, debridement, and removal, alongside routine nail and footcare. Travel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities to provide mobile podiatry services. Make all clinical decisions while utilizing the EMR system for notes and charting. We provide all equipment, supplies, scheduling, billing, and full office support including a Care Coordination team for consents, pre-authorizations, and IT support.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited school of Podiatry Medicine
- Active and unrestricted Podiatry license in the state
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to connect to patients with empathy and compassion
- Travel to skilled nursing and long term care facilities
- Ability to use EMR system for notes and charting
Desired Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible podiatrist in good standing
