Job Summary
Assess patients presenting lower extremity complaints, review medical history, perform physical examinations, order imaging or labs, and develop clinical plans of care. Provide comprehensive foot and ankle care including at-risk foot care, painful conditions, trauma, wound care, and surgical management when appropriate. Educate patients and families on wellness, medication usage, adherence, and prevention. Maintain medical records consistent with state regulations and company standards. Participate in required continuing education and prescribe medication as permitted by the state Board. Staff membership at the hospital is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine with appropriate certification and licensure
- DPM license
- DEA registration or eligibility
- CPR certification
