Job Summary
Disassemble pumps and valve bodies, clean component parts, ream valve bores, and prepare assemblies for reassembly using drills, reamers, screwdrivers, and mallets. Work Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 3:00pm with overtime available. Requires ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand continuously for an 8-10 hour shift, and operate handheld tools. JASPER, the nation's largest remanufacturer of gas and diesel engines and transmissions, offers on-the-job training and a safe, climate-controlled environment.
Required Qualifications
- The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs
- The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
- The ability to use handheld tools such as impact, screw drivers, pliers, hammer/mallets
- Standing: continuously
