Job Summary
Drive quality excellence across programmes by ensuring successful completion of all required quality approvals, First Article Inspections, Process Verifications, and Part 145 audits. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, licensors, and suppliers to champion best practices while resolving technical and supplier quality challenges. Lead regulatory authority approvals for UK CAA, FAA, EASA, and Military requirements, and coordinate Design Authority and STC/TSO/ETSO transfer activities. Partner with Project Managers to deliver complex aerospace transition and quality programmes on time and to the highest standards. Report to the Project Management Office while supporting licensing, acquisitions, and product transfers with expert quality guidance.
Required Qualifications
- proactive and collaborative quality professional
- strong technical background
- experience within a regulated aerospace environment or similar highly regulated environment
- solid understanding of UK CAA, EASA, FAA and military regulations
- experience of part 145 audits and First Article Inspections (FAIs)
- experience of product transfers
- experience of regulatory approvals
- excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment
- effective communication with stakeholders at all levels
- Flexibility to travel
- adapt to changing business needs
