Job Summary

Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule for the Veteran and Family Member Program Modernization Portfolio using MS Project, including milestones, task dependencies, and critical path analysis. Integrate Change Management and Knowledge Management workstreams into the schedule while decomposing tasks for program activities, development, and risk management. Track schedule performance against baselines, identify delivery risks, and prepare monthly status reports and quarterly portfolio progress reports within three business days of meetings. Facilitate Integrated Baseline Reviews, milestone reviews, and Go/No-Go decision points by coordinating schedule updates with the Portfolio Manager and project teams. This contingent remote role supports the Department of Veterans Affairs' VFMP, requiring occasional travel for client engagements and adherence to on-site requirements upon contract award.

Required Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience in project scheduling or project management support for a large corporation or government agency, preferably in a healthcare organization
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar in quality
  • Demonstrated proficiency building and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule in MS Project or a similar project management tool, including dependencies and critical path analysis
  • Experience maintaining risk registries, stakeholder registries, and program reporting artifacts
  • Strategic thinker with a forward-looking approach to marketing trends and technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Experience supporting complex projects and transformation efforts within the federal government
  • Comfortability with supporting complex client relationships
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
