Job Summary
Prepare and maintain project financial forecasts covering labor, hardware, software, real estate, travel, and contingency reserves. Review sales documentation to extract budgetary information, develop tracking workbooks, and monitor expenses to ensure adherence to the initiative's budget. Investigate variances between actual and forecasted expenditures, present findings to stakeholders, and facilitate financial meetings to report performance against targets. Identify financial risks, develop mitigation strategies, and audit incoming labor expenses within the timekeeping system. Maintain comprehensive documentation of financial reporting artifacts and serve as the subject matter expert for budget inquiries. This role requires coordination with multiple internal workgroups and aligns financial planning with project phases.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of PMO, project coordination, project management, or project financial management experience
- Experience managing financial data for large-scale project implementations or organizational departments
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle and PMO governance processes
- Experience presenting complex topics to a variety of audiences and scaling detail as appropriate to convey intended meaning
- Exceptional attention to detail and documentation management skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and CoPilot
- Remote-based opportunity within the United States
- Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%)
Desired Qualifications
- CAPM or PMP Certification
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
