Job Summary
Lead and develop the PMO team delivering electronics-based NPD/NPI projects (primarily medical devices) with focus on predictable delivery, cost control, and on-time execution. Manage project managers including hiring, performance reviews, and career development; establish PMO processes, tools, and standards to ensure regulatory compliance, technical rigor, and cross-functional collaboration. Oversee multiple concurrent projects across scope, schedule, budget, and quality; translate technical requirements into actionable plans; support Sales with technically informed project planning for quotes; foster accountability, technical curiosity, and continuous improvement; collaborate with Account Managers to communicate status, risks, and delivery plans in customer reviews; contribute to customer expectations management and trade-off assessments; identify opportunities to add value beyond baseline scope. Requirements include strong electronics/embedded systems knowledge, familiarity with NPI/DFM/DFT and manufacturing processes, awareness of medical device regulations (ISO 13485, FDA, EU MDR), and excellent communication and leadership skills. Education and experience emphasize a 5–10 year track record in electronics product development or contract manufacturing with a relevant engineering degree; PMP or similar certification is desirable.
