Job Summary
Program Director - COE based in Hyderabad leads a portfolio of enterprise-scale implementations, owning staffing, governance, and delivery methodologies, sets up COE processes, mentors Project Managers, manages customer relationships across pre-sales to delivery, drives on-time milestones and budget adherence, and ensures successful delivery of complex SAP/SaaS-based EAM/SCM implementations with offshore delivery teams. The role requires hands-on project leadership across multiple projects, ability to write proposals/SOWs, manage portfolio health reporting, risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement at senior levels, and delivery governance to achieve annual portfolio objectives. Strong background in both waterfall and agile delivery, data-driven decision making, and familiarity with PMO best practices, RAID, PCRs, and end-to-end program management is essential. Knowledge of industrial verticals and experience with SAP/EWM/MM/ WM, plus experience with tools like JIRA, Smartsheet, Basecamp, MS Project, and MS Office, are highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- Total of 14+ years of professional experience with minimum 5 years as program director or other senior managerial position
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods (e.g. waterfall and agile)
- Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics
- Outstanding knowledge of data analysis, reporting and budgeting
- Working knowledge of MS office and program management software (e.g. Smartsheet, Basecamp, MS Project)
- Business acumen with a strategic ability
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to prioritize, plan, organize, monitor, and conclude a project
- Executive presence
- Prior experience running large SAP or SaaS based product implementation programs (EAM, PM, MM, WM and/or EWM) with multiple Project Managers
