Job Summary
Data Center Construction Project Manager / PMO lead to support the PMO overseeing critical facilities construction projects. Will manage day-to-day activities through a team of PMs and superintendents, drive standardized PMO guidelines, and enforce company design and delivery standards to ensure on-budget, on-time project completion. Responsibilities include coordinating multiple greenfield/brownfield upgrades and retrofits, managing change orders and budgets, overseeing scheduling and progress billing, and facilitating value-engineering for built-to-suit projects. The role requires solid construction PMO leadership, experience managing data center construction programs, client-facing communication, contract negotiation with vendors, and a strong back-office orientation for documentation and processes. PMP experience and exposure to data center/mission-critical facilities design, architecture, and construction are highly relevant.
Required Qualifications
- PMO experience
- Data Center Construction experience
- PMP certification a plus
- Budget and scheduling management
- Contract negotiations with vendors
- Leadership of project managers and field teams (PMs and superintendents)
- Client-facing communication and relationship management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project)
- Ability to work independently
- Strong administrative and documentation skills
