Job Summary
Conduct clinical assessments, diagnostic workups, and treatment planning for patients with depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction while managing psychiatric medication and crisis situations. Deliver initial 60-minute consultations and 30-minute follow-ups via telehealth, receiving full administrative support for credentialing, billing, and EHR management. Earn $110 per initial visit and $70 per follow-up with no-show protection and bi-weekly direct deposit. As an independent contractor, you set your own schedule to focus entirely on patient care within a compliant, patient-first behavioral health network.
Required Qualifications
- An unrestricted license and valid DEA number registered in California
- 1+ years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience with mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, managing common psychiatric medication and treatment plans, and managing crisis situations
- Independent licensure and/or working with collaborating MD, as required by state law
- Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Registration with state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP)
- No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal healthcare programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP)
- No adverse actions by any nursing board, hospital or other credentialing body in the past 3 years
- A master's or doctoral degree from an accredited university or graduate program in psychiatric mental health nursing
- The ability to provide telehealth
- This opportunity is only open to Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) who hold an active, unrestricted license to practice in the state of California
