Job Summary
Independent contractor PMHNP with CA license to provide psychiatric mental health evaluations and treatment planning via telehealth. Responsibilities include diagnostic assessments, medication management, crisis management, and treatment planning for patients with mental health conditions; access to an EHR and telehealth platform; practice support handling credentialing, billing, and marketing; flexible scheduling with paneled patients in as little as 30 days; compensation per visit with initial and follow-up rates and additional coding payment; remote work enabled by telehealth with support teams for care coordination and HIPAA-compliant practices.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted California PMHNP license with valid DEA number registered in California
- 1+ years as a PMHNP with experience in mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, medication management, and crisis management
- Independent licensure and/or collaboration with an MD as required by state law
- ANCC Certification as PMHNP
- State Prescription Monitoring Program registration
- No suspension/debarment from federal healthcare programs in past 3 years
- No adverse actions by nursing board or credentialing bodies in past 3 years
- Master's or doctoral degree in psychiatric mental health nursing
- Ability to provide telehealth
