Job Summary
Provide clinical assessments for patients seeking mental healthcare, including diagnostic assessments, psychiatric workups, and treatment planning with medication management; serve individuals dealing with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction; operate via telehealth with access to an HIPAA-compliant EHR and support from care coordination teams; Rula handles credentialing, billing, and marketing while you focus on patient care; flexible scheduling with patient panels and rapid onboarding to see patients (as little as 30 days) and no minimum client requirements. Must hold an active, unrestricted California PMHNP license and DEA; independent contractor arrangement with compensation per visit and per 90833 coding; strict compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Active unrestricted California MD/DO? (no, PMHNP license)
- Certification as PMHNP by ANCC
- Active DEA registration in California
- State PMP registration
- Master's or doctoral degree in psychiatric mental health nursing
- 1+ years as PMHNP with mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, treatment planning, and crisis management
- Ability to provide telehealth
- Independent licensure or collaboration with MD as required by CA law
- No suspensions or debarments in federal programs (Medicare/Medicaid) in past 3 years
- HIPAA-compliant EHR platform experience
- Credentialing and billing support familiarity
