Job Summary
Provide clinical assessments for patients seeking mental healthcare, including diagnostic assessments, psychiatric workups, and treatment planning, including medication management. Work with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction while managing crisis situations. Deliver high-quality patient care through our EHR and telehealth platform with full administrative support for credentialing, billing, and marketing. This independent contractor role offers 100% pay for allocated time, including no-shows and denied claims. We handle all insurance verification and compliance to let you focus on patient care. Required Qualifications
- PMHNP with CA License
- active, unrestricted license to practice in the state of California
- independent contractor (1099) status
- 1+ years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner
- experience with mental health assessment
- experience with diagnosis
- experience with triage
- experience with managing common psychiatric medication
- experience with treatment plans
- experience with managing crisis situations
- Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Registration with state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP)
- No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal healthcare programs
- No adverse actions by any nursing board, hospital or other credentialing body in the past 3 years
- A master's or doctoral degree from an accredited university or graduate program in psychiatric mental health nursing
- The ability to provide telehealth
