Job Summary
Conduct clinical assessments, diagnostic workups, and treatment planning for patients with depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. Manage common psychiatric medications and crisis situations while providing telehealth services. Deliver care to individuals struggling with mental health issues using our EHR platform, supported by a dedicated Care Coordination team. We handle credentialing, billing, marketing, and compliance, allowing you to focus entirely on patient care. You must hold an active, unrestricted California PMHNP license, ANCC certification, and valid PMP registration.
Required Qualifications
- PMHNP with CA License
- active, unrestricted license to practice in the state of California
- independent contractor (1099) opportunity
- 1+ years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner
- experience with mental health assessment
- experience with diagnosis
- experience with triage
- experience with managing common psychiatric medication
- experience with treatment plans
- experience with managing crisis situations
- Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Registration with state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP)
- No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal healthcare programs
- No adverse actions by any nursing board, hospital or other credentialing body in the past 3 years
- A master's or doctoral degree from an accredited university or graduate program in psychiatric mental health nursing
- The ability to provide telehealth
