Job Summary
Provide clinical assessments, diagnostic workups, and treatment planning for patients seeking mental healthcare, including medication management and crisis intervention. Deliver outpatient care via telehealth using our EHR platform, working with individuals managing depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. Receive support from Care Coordination teams for higher-level care requests and access to administrative handling for credentialing, billing, and marketing. As an independent contractor, manage your own schedule while maintaining compliance with state Prescription Monitoring Program and federal healthcare regulations.
Required Qualifications
- PMHNP with CA License
- active, unrestricted license to practice in the state of California

- 1+ years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner

- Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Registration with state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP)
- No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal healthcare programs
- No adverse actions by any nursing board, hospital or other credentialing body in the past 3 years
- A master's or doctoral degree from an accredited university or graduate program in psychiatric mental health nursing
- The ability to provide telehealth
- 1+ years of post-licensure clinical experience as a PMHNP
- actively managing psychiatric patient panels
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing from an accredited institution
- Active national board certification as a PMHNP through either the ANCC (PMHNP-BC) or AANPCB (PMHNP-C)
- Active state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) registration
- No adverse actions, disciplinary history, or license restrictions with any state nursing board, hospital, or credentialing body in the past 3 to 5 years
- No suspension, exclusion, or debarment from federal healthcare programs (Medicare/Medicaid)
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care and safety planning
- Comfortable and proficient delivering outpatient care via telehealth (including EMR navigation, virtual rapport building, and remote crisis management)
Desired Qualifications
- Additional $35 payment for 90833 coding
- Additional compensation (+$35) available for eligible follow-up sessions when medically necessary add-on psychotherapy (CPT 90833) is delivered and documented in accordance with clinical guidelines and CMS billing standards
