Job Summary
Provide clinical assessments for patients seeking mental healthcare, including diagnostic assessments, psychiatric workups, and treatment planning, including medication management. Work as an independent contractor with Rula, which handles credentialing, billing, marketing, insurance verification, auditing, and compliance, allowing you to focus on patient care. Deliver care via telehealth, participate in care coordination, manage mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction, and leverage the included EHR/telehealth platform. Be paneled with insurers and benefit from support teams to handle insurance verification, credentialing, and marketing, while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and professional ethics.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted PMHNP license in California
- Master's or Doctoral degree in psychiatric mental health nursing
- 1+ years as a PMHNP with experience in mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, managing psychiatric medications and treatment plans, and crisis management
- Certification as PMHNP by ANCC
- Registration with state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP)
- No suspension/exclusion/debarment from federal healthcare programs
- Ability to provide telehealth
- Independent contractor (1099) arrangement
- Knowledge of EHR and telehealth platforms
- Experience in diagnostic assessments, psychiatric workups, and treatment planning including medication management
- Ability to deliver care to patients with depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction
- Proficiency with HIPAA compliant practices and credentialing processes
