Job Summary
Independent contractor PMHNP for behavioral health, licensed in California, to provide clinical assessments, diagnostic workups, treatment planning, and medication management for patients via telehealth; requires ANCC PMHNP certification, CA license, PMP registration, and 1+ year of PMHNP experience; Rula handles credentialing, marketing, insurance verification, billing, and billing supports; platform includes EHR and telehealth; compensation includes additional CPT coding payment (90833) and flexible scheduling with direct deposit; practice focuses on depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction with HIPAA-compliant, compliant care coordination and access to support teams
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted CA license to practice as PMHNP in California
- 1+ years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience in mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, managing psychiatric medications and treatment plans, and crisis management
- Certification as PMHNP from ANCC
- Registration with state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP)
- No suspension/exclusion/debarment from federal healthcare programs
- Master's or doctoral degree in psychiatric mental health nursing
- Ability to provide telehealth
