Job Summary
Provide psychiatric mental health assessments and medication management for patients via telehealth as an independent contractor. Hold an active, unrestricted CA PMHNP license and ANCC certification. Responsibilities include clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, triage, and developing treatment plans; manage crisis situations; deliver mental health care to individuals with conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. Work with Rula’s EHR and telehealth platform; Rula handles credentialing, billing, marketing, and client verification. No minimum client requirements; you control your time as a 1099 contractor. Additional $35 payment for 90833 coding. Rula offers support through credentialing, insurance verification, and care coordination to enable clinicians to focus on patient care. HIPAA-compliant practices and regulatory adherence are maintained. Potential to pane l with insurance within 30 days; ongoing telehealth-based care delivery across patients in the US.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted CA PMHNP license
- Master's or doctoral degree in psychiatric mental health nursing
- Certification as PMHNP by ANCC
- 1+ years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience in mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, medication management, and crisis management
- Ability to provide telehealth
- State PMP registration
- No adverse actions by nursing board or credentialing body in past 3 years
- No suspension/exclusion from federal healthcare programs
