PME Packing Engineer

Job Summary
Design and maintain packaging labels and barcodes using Codesoft; develop, review, and optimize packaging BOMs, material specifications, and packaging process plans; read and interpret 2D/3D engineering drawings to support packaging design and manufacturing requirements; conduct and support packaging reliability testing (drop, vibration, compression, environmental); apply knowledge of ISTA standards or internal packaging specifications (preferred but not required); collaborate with cross functional teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure packaging readiness for production builds and shipments; support packaging related projects and continuous improvement initiatives; ensure all packaging processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in Codesoft (label and barcode design)
- Strong understanding of packaging materials, structures, BOMs, and process planning
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and documentation
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or system integrator environments preferred
