Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and manage all operational readiness and transition-to-operations activities throughout the project lifecycle to ensure facilities, systems, personnel, documentation, and processes are prepared for safe commissioning, start-up, handover, and ongoing operations. Collaborate with EPC contractors, commissioning teams, operations personnel, maintenance teams, vendors, and stakeholders to integrate operational requirements into project execution on behalf of the Owner. This role supports Wood's Oil, Gas & New Energies business in delivering large, complex projects for national and international energy clients, focusing on steady, predictable delivery in the upstream, midstream, and decarbonization markets.
Required Qualifications
- PMC Manager OR&A experience
- Operations Readiness experience
- Planning, coordinating, and managing operational readiness and transition-to-operations activities
- Ensuring facilities, systems, personnel, documentation, and operational processes are fully prepared for safe, efficient, and seamless commissioning, start-up, handover, and ongoing operations
- Collaborating with EPC contractors, commissioning teams, operations personnel, maintenance teams, vendors, and stakeholders
- Integrating operational requirements into project execution
- Full-time availability at client office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
