Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication on yellow iron, trailers, and diesel semis. Diagnose malfunctions by inspecting, testing, and listening to defective equipment using hand, precision, and power tools. Lift heavy objects for daily tasks and communicate identified repairs to the shop manager for schedule updates. Document work, parts, and findings on Repair Orders with uploaded pictures while maintaining compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations. Complete all required safety training and work with a high degree of independence to meet standard repair times.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift heavy objects to perform daily tasks
- Work with a high degree of independence
- Maintain a high level of productivity and be able to work within or close to most standard repair times
- Communicate with co-workers, management and support team
- Perform all work in compliance with organizational safety, health and environmental policies, and federal regulations, to include OSHA, EPA, and DOT
- Participate and complete all-in company required safety training

- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
