Job Summary
Take customer food and drink orders, prepare itemized checks, and accept payments while escorting guests to tables and clearing them. Verify patron identification for alcohol compliance and maintain a warm, professional service standard. Operate the P.O.S. system, manage cashiering functions, and perform opening/closing procedures per station rotation. Keep tables and side stands stocked and tidy, ensuring full compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and required certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Food Handlers certification (must comply with State regulations)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
