Job Summary
Greet and serve guests according to standards by taking and serving orders promptly, answering menu questions, and checking food for appearance, temperature, and portions before serving. Perform assigned sidework, operate the electronic cash register/P.O.S. system, and maintain professional appearance and manner while communicating well with guests and co-workers. Withstand prolonged periods of standing or walking and lift at least 30 lbs. Adhere to hotel security policies, safety procedures, and punctuality standards. Treat all guests and associates with courtesy and respect, remaining adaptable to changes in work area or procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must have the ability to communicate in English
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times
- Can communicate well with guests
- Must be willing to 'pitch-in' and help co-workers with their job duties
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking
- Ability to lift at least 30 lbs
