Job Summary
Support PM&R patient care by preparing the treatment area and assisting patients into PM&R apparel/equipment, under supervision of a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine and/or a Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include preparing patients, applying heat/paraffin therapies, helping patients onto equipment, monitoring mobility, educating patients on proper equipment use and exercises, maintaining confidentiality, ensuring a safe clean environment, scheduling, and coordinating notes billing; bilingual English/Spanish preferred; experience with EMR systems and strong customer service skills requested.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Technician, Physical Therapy Aide Specialist, Medical Assistant, or closely related program
- CPR Certification with AED required for initial and continued employment at Gonzaba Medical Group
