Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness and order in the lobby, parking lot, and public guest areas by completing daily, weekly, and quarterly cleaning checklists. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, thresholds, base boards, railings, elevators, stairwells, and window frames. Vacuum and spot clean carpeting, upholstery, and drapery; remove gums from surfaces. Clean and shine all glass and metal surfaces, empty trash receptacles, polish bins, and replace trash bags. Clean offices as assigned, stock public restrooms, and clean public and service elevators inside and out. Perform opening and closing side work, restock supplies, and respond to customer inquiries in person and on the phone. Notify housekeeping leadership, maintenance, or the MOD of equipment malfunctions, supply needs, or floor covering damage. Attend all departmental meetings in person to enhance communication and gain knowledge of products and services. Follow all safety guidelines to ensure the protection of self, associates, and guests.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to meet standard appearance
- Ability to meet cleaning standards
- Basic understanding of cleaning methods, cleaning implements and chemicals
- Must be able to be on feet and walk behind floor care equipment for full shift
- Continuous standing may be required
