Job Summary
Deliver patient trays and snacks during meal service while guiding patients through restaurant-style menus and therapeutic diet options. Ensure accurate food delivery, maintain inventory levels, and respond promptly to service requests or identified delays. Adhere strictly to safety, sanitation, and confidentiality standards while building connections with patients and care teams. Requires ServSafe certification, ability to lift heavy objects, and flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- ServSafe or State Food Handlers card required
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in foodservice, as a dietary clerk, or in a related field preferred
