Job Summary
Line Cook responsible for preparing and executing menu items according to Jupiter Supper Club's culinary standards, maintaining station readiness, and supporting overall kitchen operations. Key duties include executing tickets during high-volume service, proper labeling and storage of products, minimizing waste, and assisting with banquet and seasonal menu preparations. Strong emphasis on teamwork, communication with chefs, and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. Candidate should be dependable, detail-oriented, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds; bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a professional kitchen preferred
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
