Job Summary
PM Line Cook II at The Cliffs Hotel & Spa: Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, broths, breads, and other items using a range of equipment; maintain sanitation and cleanliness of stations; follow opening/closing checklists and daily prep; ensure adherence to health regulations and hotel standards; support senior kitchen management and contribute to a positive, luxury-service environment. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays; on-site role in Pismo Beach, CA. Responsibilities include timely line setup, proper waste disposal, inventory awareness, and active participation in staff meetings to improve operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma; culinary degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a prep cook or line cook
- At least 6 months of experience in a similar position preferred
- Working knowledge of guest services in a luxury hotel setting
- Understand basic English
- Ability to work with people effectively
- Ability to multitask and work in mentally demanding situations
