Job Summary

Supervise daily office operations and front-end revenue cycle workflows to achieve key practice indicators. Round with staff at assigned practices to ensure MMG standards for performance, huddles, and meetings are maintained. Manage business affairs, including budget preparation, inventory, and security, while utilizing data to inform operational decisions. Hire, train, and evaluate direct reports; monitor performance and manage work schedules. Partner with providers to develop business strategies, support recruitment, and resolve patient grievances. Lead practice-based committees to engage staff in operational decisions. Occasional evening or weekend work and travel to meetings may be required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in health care administration, public health, health information management or business administration
  • Three years of experience in a position with supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of relevant health care and administrative software
  • Good leadership, motivation, training and goal-setting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Financial and accounting skills
  • Knowledge of finance best practices and standards
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment
  • Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports
  • Occasional evening or weekend work
  • Able to travel to meetings and to attend conferences as necessary

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in health care administration, public health, health information management or business administration is preferred
  • Three years of experience in a position with supervisory responsibilities preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with Physicians, other medical professionals, office personnel employees and patients
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of relevant health care and administrative software

  • Financial and accounting skills
