Job Summary
Clean and maintain public areas including floors, carpets, furniture, and restrooms daily according to Aimbridge Hospitality standards. Set up and maintain lobby functions, coffee service, and nightly concierge events while delivering service items to guest rooms upon front desk requests. Handle luggage assistance at check-in/out, manage lost and found items, and operate the shuttle van when needed. Complete daily assignment checklists, turn in keys and sheets at shift end, and remove room service trash from hallways. Work in a high-pressure environment maintaining composure under stress. Located at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Houston Downtown/Convention Center with free WiFi and complimentary breakfast.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver license for the applicable State and an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving record (property specific-driving))
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
