Job Summary

Execute high-quality MIG and TIG welding, particularly aluminum TIG, to meet project requirements while conducting thorough inspections of welds and assemblies. Interpret work orders, production routers, and bills of materials to accurately complete assigned tasks, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards and company quality guidelines. Use hand tools effectively, including tape measures, and operate cranes or hoists safely according to established training. Maintain a clean, organized work area through consistent housekeeping practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements. Participate in team huddles, group projects, and one-on-one communications to support team alignment. Be available to work overtime, including weekends, as required by the production schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Complete training course to become qualified welder in MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding techniques
  • Ability to use basic gauges, hand tools, and a tape measure accurately
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, wiring prints, and basic welding specifications
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Self‐motivated individual who takes pride in personal and team development
  • Strong basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to follow detailed written or verbal instructions
  • Ability to perform precise, high‐quality work
  • Strong organizational skills with accurate recordkeeping
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in work
  • Ability to lift and carry parts weighing from 1 ounce up to 75 pounds for up to 10 hours per day
  • Ability to grasp, manipulate, and move parts of various sizes for prolonged periods (up to 10 hours per day)
  • Ability to walk and stand continuously for up to 10 hours per day
  • Ability to move items 4 feet from waist height safely and effectively
  • Ability to perform repeated bending, twisting, and stooping for up to 10 hours per day
  • Ability to stand for 91–100% of the workday
  • Ability to use hands continuously, including gripping tools with a full fist
  • Ability to twist lower arms and turn/bend wrists throughout the shift
  • Ability to reach forward frequently (91–100%)
  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs with hoist/lift-assist equipment frequently (61–90%)
  • Ability to stand in a bent‐over position frequently (61–90%)
  • Ability to sit occasionally (31–60%)
  • Ability to work in (or relocate to) Tooele, UT US
  • Ability to work overtime, including weekends, as required by the production schedule
  • Ability to participate in team huddles, group projects, and one‐on‐one communications
  • Ability to operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently
  • Ability to follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company procedures
  • Ability to operate cranes or hoists safely and according to established training and guidelines
  • Ability to conduct 5S audits and complete assigned daily checklists
  • Ability to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and suggesting process enhancements
  • Ability to use daily discomfort logs and report any sickness, injury, or safety concern immediately
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through consistent housekeeping practices
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility by moving to various work areas based on production demands
  • Ability to interpret work orders, production routers, bills of materials (BOMs), product manuals, and verbal instructions
  • Ability to understand and comply with all ISO 9001 requirements and company quality standards
  • Ability to package, box, and label products according to company guidelines
  • Ability to perform basic system transactions in Navision
  • Ability to complete all required daily paperwork and maintain accurate updates on production boards
  • Ability to execute high‐quality MIG and TIG, particularly aluminum TIG welding to meet project requirements
  • Ability to conduct thorough inspections of welds and assemblies to verify accuracy, durability, and adherence to established specifications
  • Ability to be legally authorized to work permanently in the country the position is located in at the time of application
  • Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
