Job Summary
Field Technician will perform maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and aerial lifts across rental and customer-owned assets, diagnose issues using data from multiple models, generate and track work orders, order parts, and maintain documentation. Requires ownership of tools, strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/diesel systems, and ability to travel to customer job sites. Must have a valid driver's license, be 21+, lift up to 50 lbs, and adhere to OSHA guidelines; on-site 5-day workweeks with potential overtime and weekend on-call in special circumstances. Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Safety-sensitive position with drug screen requirement
